JL-JT APEX Front Axle Truss - Patent Pending Peaked Design
Reinforce Your Rig Before You Need It
Let's be real—factory axles weren't built for 40-inch tires and aggressive rock crawling. The APEX Front Axle Truss is your insurance policy against that sickening crack sound no Jeep owner wants to hear mid-trail. With patent-pending peaked design technology, this truss delivers maximum strength at minimum weight, so you can wheel harder without wondering if your axle will survive the day.
Drop it in. Weld it up. Send it with confidence.
🔧 What Makes APEX Different
- Revolutionary Peaked Design: The unique peaked top structure (patent pending) provides superior rigidity compared to flat-top trusses while actually reducing weight. It's engineering that just makes sense.
- Complete End-to-End Protection: Industry-first design that extends underneath OEM coil buckets for full axle reinforcement—not just the easy parts
- 70% Less Welding Required: Precision CNC bent seams mean less time under your rig, less warping, and less room for error. Even weekend fabricators can install this confidently.
- Proven Trail Tough: Secretly tested for over a year in extreme conditions before release. If it survived the engineers' abuse, it'll survive yours.
- Lightweight Beast: Only 6 lbs of 1/8" mild steel protection that punches way above its weight class
⚙️ Technical Specs & Features
- CNC laser cut and precision bent in-house for perfect fitment
- Designed using 3D models directly from Dana Corp and Jeep for exact OEM clearances
- Low-profile design won't interfere with lifted or slightly lifted rigs (1.5"+ lift recommended)
- Dimpled holes reduce weight while adding structural rigidity
- Contours both cast steel differential and FAD (Front Axle Disconnect)
- Bridges the FAD/CAD—one of the weakest points on factory JL axles
- Rated for worry-free wheeling with up to 40" tires on stock axles
- Weldable with standard MIG welder (moderate pre/post-heating required)
🏔️ Built for Your Adventures
Whether you're crawling Moab slickrock, tackling the Rubicon, or just hitting your favorite local trail, axle damage can turn an epic day into an expensive tow. The APEX Truss is designed for wheelers who refuse to let factory limitations define their adventures.
This isn't about if you'll push your rig—it's about making sure it's ready when you do. From overlanding expeditions to weekend rock crawling sessions, consider this your axle's armor upgrade.
